Finding words from the word folder

I am learning to find words from the word folder at story writing time. I find it easy to find the words that I want.

Swimming fun

At swimming sports, I liked the beach ball push race because you had to push the rainbow balls. I took part in the kicking with a board race.

Learning about fractions-- half and quarter

Here I was learning about half and quarter. I have learnt how to show half of a group and of a shape. Now I know that half means 2 equal parts.

Punctuation marks are everywhere. Full stops, speech marks, question marks and commas are punctuation marks. They ask us to do different things. Sometimes they are tricky.
